Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) in Naturopathy
Although the practise of the methods were in use since the ancient ages but it is since last three decades that the course has been accepted as a recognized course of medical study. Ultimately, the candidates pursuing this course are benefited with novel job profiles; and which are in great demand in the present world.
Eligibility:
The eligibility criterion states that the candidates must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent from any recognized university or board with Science combination of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The minimum percentage requirement in 10+2 for being eligible for the course is 50% for the general students and it is reduced to 40% for the SC, ST candidates.
Course Outlook:
The course is meant for duration of five and a half years. Then after these five years, the candidates are ready to serve as experts in diversified ayurvedic treatment clinics and ayurvedic hospitals.
Job Prospects:
There exists enormous job opportunities for the candidates with a bachelor degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. The few of these can be enlisted as the profile of doctors in which the candidates can be appointed in ayurvedic treatment clinics and ayurvedic hospitals, which are located in diversified significant cities of India.
