Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to the Osmania University and is one of the part of the Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society. The college is named after the Prince Muffakham Jah who was the grandson of the last Nizam. The college was established in the year of 1980 with a mission to give higher education to the students in various technical fields.

Infrastructure:

The college campus is spread over a sprawling area of 20 acres that accommodates several buildings. The campus includes 15 laboratories, 24 classrooms, 14 staff rooms and 4 drawing halls. It also has seminar halls, audio-visual room and academic section office.

Courses Offered:

The college offers courses in various branches like Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering.

Admission Procedure:

The candidates have to face Engineering and Medicine Common Entrance Test which is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Government. Selection is based on this test and the students have to attend a counseling program in order to choose their desired course. The candidates have to pass 10+2 or its equivalent exams with Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

Placement:

The students have been placed in well known firms of India visiting this college at regular intervals. The students are well trained before passing out from this college.
