Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences was set up on 30.11.1980 and the foundation stone was laid by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri R Guru Rao at the premises of Vokkaligara Sangha. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and offers a number of courses to the interested candidates. The institute provides qualified and experienced faculty members who distribute all sorts of study materials to its students.

Admission Procedure:

The students have to secure more than 50% marks in qualifying exams like CET/COMED-K conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The students should have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission in order to be eligible for these courses.

Placement:

The institute provides training programs in various medical fields in its related hospitals. The students have been placed in domestic and national health care centers and are working at various designations.
