Profile:

Central Council For Research In Ayurveda And Siddha (CCRAS) was established is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the council was to have a technical Institute for the formulation, co-ordination, development and promotion of research work in the fields of Ayurveda and Siddha. The council is also responsible for performing the research works in the field of literary and fundamental research, drugs etc.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Ayurveda Expert and Junior Ayurveda Expert in Central Council For Research In Ayurveda And Siddha:

1. Recruitment of Ayurveda Expert (Analysis & Monitoring):
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: M.D. in Ayurveda is required with an experience of atleast one year.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 40 years.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 35000 per month.

2. Recruitment of Ayurveda Expert:
No. of posts: Only 7 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: M.D. in Ayurveda is required.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 40 years.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Junior Ayurveda Expert:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: B.A.M.S is required as the qualification.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 30 years.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 18000 per month.

4. Recruitment of MBA:
No. of posts: Only 20 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 25 years as on 31 August 2010.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Business Administration is required.

5. Recruitment of Law officer:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 30 years as on 31 August 2010.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be passed in LLB with atleast 50% marks.

Selection Process:

An written test followed by an interview session with the selection committee are the selection criteria set for the above specified posts in Central Council For Research In Ayurveda And Siddha.
