This Institute of supreme technical advancement as well as enormous stature was established in the year 2008 as by the MHRD, along with all the other eight new IIT’s that was established in the same year. The Institute has been amongst the most reputed amongst the newly established IIT’s. This Institute has Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur as a mentor. The institute has sparked newer convention in practicing the education imparting style to the IIT’ians and thus has made quite a few names for it.

Infrastructure and Campus:

The College has an excellent campus that spreads over a vast area of 900 acres or 3.6 square kilometers. The College is located in the pink city, Jodhpur. The College has also made arrangements for the residential living of both the students as well as the teaching staff. The Infrastructural facilities offered by the Institute are quite impressive comparing to the relative less time have passed since it’s established.

Courses Offered:

Presently, the college is offering Under Graduate level degree in different Engineering streams such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. However no Post Graduate degree is offered in any of the subjects.

Admission Procedure:

The admission to the Institute is achieved by clearing the cut off marks of the Admission test, IIT-JEE, through which they are called for counseling. They are offered seats as per their ranks as well as availability of the seats.

Placements:
The Institute has an impressive record for its placement department. The College has been known to place its candidates in companies such as HCL Technologies, ONGC, Wipro, Motorola India, etc.
