The fee structure of these two year program is as low as Rs. 1200 in some colleges and as high as 40000 in some colleges. Thus, the fee structure fluctuates with colleges. The government colleges have much lower fees than the private colleges. The fee in University of Calcutta goes as low as Rs. 1200 per year. In Christ University it is as high as Rs 40000 per semester. University of Punjab charges around Rs. 35,000 per annum for replica course of MA in Economics. The fee charged by Gauhati University is around Rs. 5,000 per annum.
