Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University was established on August 1, 1987. The university was actually registered in the year 1993 under section 12 (B) of UGC Act, 1956. Initially the name of the university was University of Ajmer but it was later changed to its present name i.e. Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University. Some new departments were added to the university after it shifted to new campus in the year 1993. Some of the new departments that were introduced at that time were Departments of Microbiology, Food and Nutrition and Management Studies. There are total 24 teaching departments present in the university.

Selection Process:

The appointment of the eligible candidates is to be made purely on the basis of result of the personal interview test that will be held on the prescribed date. The university reserves the right to leave the posts vacant if they don’t find suitable candidates.

Application form can be obtained on the payment of Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates) in cash or candidates can download the form from MDSU website but then they will have to send a DD (drawn in favour of Registrar, M.D.S University, Ajmer) of Rs. 500 in support of the application form. Application must reach before the 20 December 2010 in the prescribed format to the address given below.
