Narmada Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHDC) Limited was founded as a result of the joint venture of NHPC Limited and Government of Madhya Pradesh. Initially, the corporation was started with the name of Narmada Hydroelectric Developent Corporation Limited. The corporation came into existence on August 1, 2000 with its corporate office located at Bhopal. The corporation is mainly committed towards the development of hydropower and other renewal energy potential in the state of Madhya Pradesh. There are several projects that are under operation but supplying power to the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Narmada Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHDC) Limited is looking for young individuals who are committed for work. The corporation actually requires young Diploma Engineers possessing a good academic record and have committment towards their work.

Eligibility:

30 years as on 1 December 2010 is the maximum age limit that has been set by the Narmada Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHDC) Limited for all the interested candidates. Candidates are required to fulfill this age criteria for applying for the specified posts.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma in Electircal Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required for the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical) and Junior Engineer (Mechanical) respectively. Candidates having degree in respective field of engineering can also apply for the posts.

Junior Engineers (Mechanical): 8 posts (Gen-5, SC-1, ST-1 and OBC-1)

Junior Engineers (Mechanical): Rs. 7900-3.5%-13700

Application Fee:

A crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 250 is need to be sent as the application fee from all candidates belonging to the General Category. However, the SC/ST/PWD candidates are extempted from paying any kind of application fee. The Demand Draft is to be drawn in favour of NHDC Ltd payable at Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).

How to apply: Attested copies of the required documents or certificates and two recent passport size photographs are need to be sent in support of the application form. All the documents must be sent in an envelope that should have the superscription “Application for the post of ____________ Advt. No. _______________”.
