Maharishi Dayanand University was established in the year 1976 as a public university. The university is located at Rohtak, Haryana. The university is named after the great saint Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. The university is considered as one of the premier institution of higher education in the region. Mr. J. S. Pahadia is the present Chancellor of the university and also the Ram Phal Hooda is the Vice Chancellor. The university has an urban campus which is affiliated by University Grants Commission and AICTE. The university shares its campus with IIM Rohtak.

Selection Process:

Selectionof best suitable eligible candidates will be made through the conduct of a competitive written examination followed by an interview test. Only successful candidates of the written test will be called for the interview test on specified date. Candidates will have to qualify in bothe stages of selection process for getting selected.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 130 is need to be submitted by the General candidates in the form of a Demand Draft. Candidates falling under the categories of Scheduled Caste and Backward Class, will have to submit an application fee of Rs. 55 only. The demand draft must be drawn in favour of Finance Officer, M. D. U., Rohtak.
