Central Rice Research Institute is basically a research institute dedicated to perform various research activities on Rice. The institute is located or situated on Cuttack-Paradip road, Orissa. The institute is consered as one of the premier research institute of the country. The institute comes under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The scientists working in the institute perform various research activities on rice and some othe accoladed research work in various discipline of rice research comes under their belt such as Plant Breeding, Nematology, Blue Green Algae, Physiology, Entomolgy, PLant Breeding and Genetics etc.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply on the following posts of T-6, T-3 and T-1 in Central Rice Research Institute depending on their educationla qualification and experience:

1. Recruitment of T-6 (Senior Technical Assistant):

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture is required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of T-3 (Farm Assistant):

Educational Qualification: Bahcelor’s degree in Agriculture is required for the post.

3. Recruitment of T-3 (Farm Assistant):

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 50 in the form of a Indian Postal Order or crossed demand draft (only from State Bank of India) must be submitted by the candidates. The Demand draft should be drawn in favour of Director, CRRI payable at SBI Nayabazar, Cuttack-4, Code No. 2094. No fee is to be paid by the candidates falling under SC/ST/PH/Women category.

How to apply: Neatly typed or handwritten application alongwith the attested copies of the certificates are need to sent within the time. A passport size photograph duly signed by the applicant and attested by Gazetted Officer must be affixed a top right corner of the application. Incomplete applications will be rejected straightaway by the institute.
