Institute profile: This institute was founded a long ago in the year 1918. It deals in food and drug research, nutrition and disorders research. It is a premier institute of nutrition research in India. It has excellent facilities of research, training, development and infrastructure.

Job profile: The candidates will be required to work on the project named Nutritive value of Indian foods. The role of a programmer would be to develop and manage software and applications helpful in various stages of the project. The technical assistants would be required to provide assistance and technical details.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 30 years for the post of programmer and 28 years for Senior Technical Assistant. However, relaxation can be claimed.

Educational Qualifications: For programmer – A candidate must have a degree in computer science or MCA with a minimum of 1 year experience. For senior technical assistant – A candidate must have a B.Sc with chemistry/biology (preferably M.Sc) and a minimum of one year experience.

No. of posts: There are 3 (UR) posts for programmer and 66 posts for senior technical assistant (SC-09, ST-4, OBC-17 and UR-36).

Pay scale: The programmers will be given a fixed salary of Rs12805 and the senior technical assistants will be given a fixed salary of Rs10835.

Selection process: The candidates have to appear for a walk-in interview. The selections will be made on the basis of their excellence in educational qualifications and experience.

How to apply: The candidates are required to be present with their original as well as the copies of their essential certificates for the walk-ins. The candidates must also bring their recent photographs. The candidates have to present at 9.30 AM at the institute.
