The Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) was established on 22 April 1946. The institute came under the administrative control of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in 1966. Two stations for research being the Regional Rainfed Lowland Rice Research Station and Central Rainfed Upland Rice Research Station are functioning under the institute. The basic functions of these research stations are to effectively handle the flood prone rained lowlands and handling the problems of rainfed uplands.
Job Profile:
Central Rice Research Institute, Cuttack invites application from eligible candidates for the post of T-1 Technical Posts in various disciplines for the institute and its two Sub-stations at CRURRS, Hazaribagh (jharkhand) and RRLRRS, Gerua (Assam).
No. of posts: 22 (Electrician -1, Mechanic -1, Field Assistant -15, Laboratory technician -2, Fitter -2, Draftsman -1)
Pay Scale – PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade pay of Rs.2000
Eligibility:

Educational Qualification – Matriculate with at least one year certificate in related field from any recognized institution.
