National Institute of Health and Family Welfare was established as an apex technical institute under the Government of India. The institute was funded by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The institute actually came into existence in the year 1977 as a result of the merging of National Institute of Health Administration and Education and National Institute of Family Planning. The major objective objective behind its establishment was to promote the health and family welfare programmes in the country. The institute provides education, research, training and other consultancy services in the country.

Several posts or vacancies for the following positions are required to be filled on priority basis under the Reproductive and Child Health Programmes in National Institute of Health and Family Welfare.

1. Recruitment of Consultant (Medical):
Posts Available: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 55 years.
Educational Qualification: Degree from recognized medical institute with 6 years of professional experience.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 40000-55000 per month.

2. Recruitment of Consultant (MIS):
Posts Available: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 55 years.
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Statistics/Demography or Population Sciences from recognized medical institute with Some years of experience in health sector.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 30000-40000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Technical Assistant (A):
Posts Available: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in STatistics is required.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 18000-22000 per month.

4. Recruitment of Consultant (RO):
Posts Available: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 55 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduation from recognzied university is required with some working experience in health sector.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 20000 per month.

Selection Process:

Interested canddiates will have to appear in a Walk-In-Interview on 17 January 2011 in time at the prescribed address. Candidates are required to get qualified in this Walk-In-Interview for getting themselves selected on any one of the specified posts in National Institute of Health and Family Welfare.
