Sinhgad College of Architecture was established by the Sinhgad Technical Education Society in the year 2000 with the objective of grooming the creative skills of students. It is affiliated to University of Pune and Pune Council for Architecture.
Courses Offered:
Sinhgad College of Architecture is offering the following courses in the field of Architecture:
• Master of Architecture with specialization in
o Computer application
o Architectural conservation
• Bachelor of Architecture with specialization in
o Interior design
o General
Eligibility for admission:
For getting admission to the Bachelor of Architecture course offered by the college, candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination with mathematics as compulsory subject and even candidates who have completed their two or three year diploma in any stream with not less than 50% of aggregate marks can apply. For Master’s degree, candidates must have completed Bachelor’s in Architecture.
Admission Procedure:
The college prepares initial list of qualified candidates after taking into consideration the marks secured by the students in the higher secondary examination and in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture. The Maharashtra Association of Schools of Architecture conducts the initial two rounds of admission process for the candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra and Sinhgad College of Architecture itself conducts the third round of admission for candidates belonging to other states.
Fee Structure:
As far as Indian Students are concerned, Sinhgad College of Architecture collects a fee of around Rs. 78000 per annum for general B. Arch course and for Interior design course, it is around Rs. 63000 per annum. For NRIs’, PIOs’ and Foreign nationals, the college collects a fee of around Rs. 1,94,000 per annum and for students belonging to SAARC nations, it is around Rs.1,48,000 per annum. For M. Arch courses, the fee is around Rs. 65000 per annum for Indian students and Rs. 97000 for foreign students and NRI’s and Rs. 82800 for SAARC nations students. In addition to this, students joining in the first year of both UG and PG course will have to pay a refundable deposit of Rs. 1500 towards library.
