GAIL is a reputed Company and undertakes recruitment for the eligible candidates. The process has two parts, namely the aptitude test and the personal HR. The Aptitude test has been designed to test the speed of the aspirant, as the test offers a total of one hundred and fifty questions in about two hours. Out of these 150 questions, there are about fifteen questions for the General Awareness topics and thirty five questions are from the Quantitative Aptitude section. The remaining one hundred questions are based on IT or software based. It may include questions from C, C++, JAVA Programming, etc.

Each of the questions from this section is either Multiple Types or subjective types, in which candidates have to explain in their own language as far as possible. Candidates should focus on the following modules. However it is advised to equally lay stress on all the modules. Candidates should finish their Aptitude as well as GK part, within a time period of half an hour, in order to fair well time for completing the IT and Computer Software’s based question. Questions on binary conversion are usually observed in the paper. Thus candidates should be very clear with their basics, prior to the exam.
