How to Prepare for the IP University – GGSIPU B. Tech Entrance Exam?
The University carries out an entrance exam for the admission of students into the B.Tech courses. The exams are normally scheduled for the month of June. Candidates who are appearing for this exam should be class 12 pass outs. The certification should be from a board that is recognized by the state government. Students who have concluded their Diploma program are suitable to apply too.
Structure of the GGSIPU B. Tech Entrance Exam
The paper will include 150 questions of the objective type. The total marks that this paper will carry are 600 marks. For every correct answer, the student will be given 4 marks apiece. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be taken away. The questions will be on topics such as:
- General Awareness
- English Language and Comprehension
- Analytical Logical Reasoning
Rest will be on the subject related.

Apart from this there will be questions like true, false, probably true etc. Also they need to refer various books to gain subject knowledge.

Study plan for the GGSIPU B. Tech Entrance Exam
The candidate has to study these portions thoroughly. They have to allot time for each section and cover these portions in a particular time. The candidate should prepare well in advance to have sufficient time for revision and mock sessions. They have to read newspapers and magazines to gain knowledge about current affairs. CAT or MAT books can be used for reference purpose. The candidate can find lots of vocabulary tests in online. They can practice these tests and improve their vocabulary knowledge. The candidate has to practice many model question papers and sample papers. This will help to analyze their level of preparation.
