Rajendra Medical College and Hospital was established in the year 1965. It is also called as Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS). The college is affiliated to the Ranchi University, Ranchi and it is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

Courses offered:

The Rajendra Medical College and Hospital offers the undergraduate programme - MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates, who have passed 10+2 examination in science stream with the subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50%, are eligible to apply for the MBBS course. They must get qualified in the JCECE entrance examination, group discussion and personal interview, in order to get admission for the MBBS course.
