Central Industries Security Force (CISF) was established in the year 1969. The CISF started with three divisions to offer integrated security service to the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). CISF also provides security cover to airports, seaports, power plants, space establishments, sensitive Government buildings, nuclear installations, heritage monuments and other critical infrastructure installations.

Eligibility:

Age Criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years (Relaxable as per rules).

Educational Qualification – The candidates must have done intermediate or 10+2 examination from any recognized University or Board. They must be proficient in shorthand with speed of 80 words per minute in English or Hindi, and computer typing with speed of 40 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. Selection Process:

The candidates are selected for the post through written examination, verification of eligibility standards, typing speed test, shorthand test, and medical examination.
