Border Security Force (BSF) that belongs to the Central Police Forces (CPF) was established in the year 1965. The primary responsibilities of BSF are to provide security to the people living in the border areas, prevent Tran’s border crimes, as well as to prevent illegal activities such as smuggling and other unauthorized activities.

The BSF offer excellent security services at the border areas during war time as well as peace time.

Job Profile:

Medical Officer Selection Board (CAPFs) invites application from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) in CPF or Central Police Forces (BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles).

No. of posts: 240 (BSF -63, CRPF - 135, SSB - 20, ITBP -16, Assam Rifles -6)

Pay Scale – Rs. 15600 - 39100 + Grade pay of Rs. 6600

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The maximum age limit is 35 years (Relaxable as per rules).

Educational Qualification – The candidates must have done post graduate degree or diploma in concerned specialty of medical course recognized by the Indian Medical Council Act. They must have one and half years experience. They must have completed compulsory rotating internship.     Am dr wilubo and am working in assam rifles(assam rifles composite hospital shikhuvi)nagaland since august 2011 till today under contract basis.i finish my post graduation(anaesthesiology) in 2001 follow by private practice.sir am from nagaland and come under st.i want to knw whether i will get assam rifles or not and is there st seat in anaesthesiology or not.kindly adjust me in assam rifles if possible for which i will be highly oblige to you.thank you
