Why is this subject important?

Management information systems these days are important for the organization’s strategic long term goals. So in order to be effective, a thorough knowledge on how information systems are designed, constructed, implemented and managed is required. A proper understanding of the role of information systems is required for the organization to do well. This subject mainly deals with these topics and hence is quite important.

Paper Pattern:

The Management Information system has a total of eight questions. The paper is divided into four units and five questions have to be answered from these four units. Two questions are present in each unit and while answering one has to answer one question from each of the four units while the fifth question can be answered from any of the units. Several questions are further divided into 2-3 sub questions. Writing the answers in a structured form helps in scoring well in this paper.
