Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation has invited applications from experience and qualified engineering for a walk-in-interview for appointment on contract/deputation.

Name of the Position: Assistant Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer

Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 27, which is divided as follows among the positions of Assistant Engineer and Assistant Executive Engineer.

• Assistant Engineer – 14

• Assistant Executive Engineer  - 13, which is further divided as follows:

o AEE for Primavera – 01 post

o AEE for Works – 07 Posts

o AEE for Safety – 02 posts

o AEE for Quality – 03 posts

Pay Scale: In the case of candidates appointed on deputation basis, they will get a pay scale as drawn in the parent department and other allowances as admissible under BRMCL. In the case of candidates appointed for the position of Assistant Executive Engineer monthly consolidated salary will be Rs. 35000, which will be Rs.25000 for the position of Assistant Engineer. In addition to this consolidated pay, candidates will receive personal and medical insurance coverage and telephone facility. Candidates appointed for the position of AEE will also get conveyance as pre the rules of the company.

Period of Contract: The period of contract is three years minimum, which can be extended on mutually agreed conditions.

Eligibility Details:

Educational Qualification/Experience:

Assistant Engineer: For the position of Assistant Engineer, diploma or graduation in civil engineering. Candidates should possess at least five years of experience at the level of assistant engineer or fifteen years of experience at the level of Junior Engineer.

Assistant Executive Engineer: For all the position of Assistant Executive Engineer, candidates must have completed their degree course in civil engineering and for Primavera alone, candidates can be degree holders in either computer science/IT/Electronics/Electricals or civil engineering with certificate course in usage of Primavera Software. For all other positions of AEE, candidates must have worked at the same level with a minimum of 10 years experience as Graduate Engineering and out of these 10 years, they must have at least five years experience in the appropriate fields like safety and quality control/quality assurance. For Primavera alone, candidates must have minimum five years experience of working as AEE with minimum two years experience in usage of Primavera software.

Age: The maximum age limit for the position of Assistant Engineer is 40 years and for AEE is 50 years as on 1st of October 2011.
