Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology came into existence in the year 2009 and the college is approved by the Government of Bihar, All India Council of Technical Education and the institute is affiliated to the Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University.

Eligibility requirement:

For admission to any of the above-mentioned branches of engineering, candidates should have completed their class XII with not less than 50% of marks in mathematics, chemistry and physics subjects.

How to apply:

Candidates can get the application form along with prospectus on payment of Rs.400 in cash from the sale centres announced by the college. Candidates can also get the prospectus and application form by sending an account payee bank draft for Rs.475 drawn in favor of Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology payable at Purnea through registered post.

Duly filled in application must be signed by the candidate and the parent/guardian, who is going to pay the fee for the student. Once the application form, admit card and registration card are sent to the college before the last date, the candidate becomes eligible to sit for the entrance examination conducted by the institute for admission of students to the B. Tech courses.

Admission Procedure:

Admission of students to the B. Tech course offered by the institute will be based on the entrance examination conducted by the institution. However, students with BCECE, AIEEE and IIT-JEE score need not take the admission test. Candidates with Diploma, BCA, B. Sc (hons.) with PCM subjects can seek direct admission to the second year of the B. Tech courses in appropriate branches.

Library at Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology is spread over an area of 4500 square feet and it has a rich collection of more than 5000 books on engineering from top publishers. The library is subscribing for 15 e-journals, 30 international and 30 national journals apart from 10 magazines.
