Paper description:
As the name suggests the subject deals with some quantitative methods and ways to deal with economic problems. The subject includes study of various kinds of quantitative methods of finding out the economic terms and relations out of a given problem. The subject includes topics like mathematical modeling and analytical study along with opytimization.

The paper has few questions repeated almost every year. This includes finding the growth or depletion based on statistics. Mathematical relationships between various economic terms and values; Observation of various experiments and the theories that help in determination of mathematical relation between two identities!
Paper pattern:
The paper for M.A. in Economics, Quantitative Methods for Economists (Paper-III) has all together 10 questions in it. Out of the given 10 questions, candidates need to choose any 5 and answer them every question in the paper is of 16 marks each. There is no sections and part in the paper. The questions are given in two languages, one is English and the other is the vernacular language.
Marks allotted and Time duration:
The time given to the candidates to answer the paper is 3 hours and the paper is of 80 marks only.
