Paper Pattern:

Questions asked in this paper are of both subjective and objective type. Questions asked are divided into two sections, section A is of objective type and contains 20 questions. Section B is of subjective section and has 4 questions in it. There is no alternative for any question. The questions in the paper are of long answer type. The last question is of short notes, 5 out of 6 short notes are to be attempted. Suitable diagram should be given wherever required. Answers are to be given in suitable lengths.

Question in subjective section are on surgical anatomy, mechanism of conduction of nerve pulse, pathophysiology of shock, short notes on hyper parathyroidism, enamel organ of the tooth, glucose tolerance test etc. Garre’sostelymitis etc. The questions asked are to be solved with the diagram wherever required.

Total marks and time allotted:

Maximum marks allotted to the paper are 100 and objective section is of 20 marks and subjective section is of 80 marks. Time allotted is of 3 hours, objective part is of 20 minutes and subjective part is of 2 hours and 40 minutes.
