The degree of engineering is a good course for anyone who is interested in technical field. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a field which is very vast and have a good scope as many organizations are totally based on the inventions in this sector.

Paper Pattern:

The paper of Principles of Control Systems paper is a subjective paper and it also contains numerical problems in it. The paper contains 7 questions and 5 from it are to be attempted from it. Question no. 1 is compulsory and rest 4 are to be chosen from rest 6 questions. The paper contains one question as short notes and there are 4 notes from which 3 are to be chosen. The questions are divided into 2-3 sub-questions for the ease of candidates. Questions are to be solved with the help of required diagram if necessary.

The paper is of theoretical as well as numerical questions, the paper should be solved within the given time limit. Questions asked are such as Dynamic model of an RLC network, state variable model, impulse response model, transfer function model, standard test/disturbance signals and their models, transfer function model and dynamic response of a second order electrical system, steady state accuracy, transient and steady state responses of a second order system etc.

Total marks and time allotted:

A total of 100 marks can be obtained in the paper and time allotted is 3 hours only. Each question is of 20 marks and most of the sub-questions are of 10 marks each.
