The paper of Computer Organization contains questions based on a simple question pattern. Total questions in the paper are 7-8 and 5 questions are required to be attempted by the candidates. The questions are further divided into 2-3 sub-questions for the ease of the candidates. The questions asked are required to be solved with the help of the diagrams if the questions demand so. Each question in this paper is of equal marks. The questions are of good standard.

The paper of Computer Organization is of a high standard and questions asked are repeated from previous year’s paper, so candidates should go through them very nicely. Questions asked are on topics such as super computers, super tightened microprocessors, sign magnitude and 2’s complement approaches, matrix multiplication, optical disc, magnetic tape systems, daisy chaining, binary tree network, data transfer in binary method etc. Questions are required to be solved with the help of a diagram if mentioned in the question.

Total marks and time allotted:

A student can score a highest of 80 marks in the paper and time allotted for the questions to be solved is 3 hours. The questions are of equal marks and some questions are further divided into sub-questions for the ease of the students.
