The advanced Construction Techniques & field quality has become one of the major concerns in the present world. The construction should follow the guidelines and should avoid earthquake, this will all depends on the techniques and new ideas behind it.

Which Pattern is followed? :

The paper contains 5 questions in it all are of long answering type. The questions are equipped with internal alternative for each of the question. These questions are also divided into 2 sub-questions to making it comfortable for the student to answer. The questions asked are of same marks. The paper also contains numerical problems and short notes type questions in it.

Questions asked often:

The paper contains questions such as Light construction techniques, System auditing, Inspection standards, reduction of self-weight, effecting economy, methods of thermal insulation in buildings and air conditioning, essay on soil reinforcements and applications of Geosynthetics, Application of Ferro cement, importance of Cantering and shuttering and Underground constructions, Use of construction chemicals, Rock blasting, Site developments, IRC standards with respect to materials and designs, Quality policy,tests to be carried out on bitumen and explain any two tests, Quality manual etc.

Tips before the exam:

The students should revise the entire syllabus thoroughly before the paper, if that is not possible than they can prepare at least 3 modules in a solid way.

Marks assigned:

The paper is allotted 100 marks maximum for the student. Students cannot score full marks in the paper.

Time Span:

The time span of the paper is 3 hours only.
