Master of Public Health: Course Details
Master of Public Health is a postgraduate course related to medical field. The duration of the course is two years. The two-year course is again divided in to 4 semesters of six months each. The final semester include study of electives and project work. The course study helps the candidate analyze the health characteristics as well as the risk factors in population. People working in this area of public health are responsible for planning, evaluating, and implementing the new ideals in improving health among masses.
The course helps the candidate to identify the ways to trace out the reasons behind the outbreak of a particular disease among the population. They are also responsible to carry out research on the same and to make out health issues that caused disease or its symptoms. Apart from the skills mentioned, the course helps the candidate to formulate healthy ideas related to public health policy.

Eligibility required for Master of Public Health Course
The candidate who have completed any of the courses among MBBS/BDS/
B.V. Sc/BE/MA/M.Sc or its equivalent are eligible to apply for this course. The qualification must be acquired from a recognized University/Institute with at least 50% marks in the course. Those belonging to SC/ST are offered with 5% relaxation in marks. Moreover, the candidate has to pass the entrance exam carried out by the institute to get qualified for admission.
Entrance Exam Pattern Master of Public Health Course
The question pattern of entrance test may vary according to them authority that carries out the same. The common pattern includes multiple-choice questions, which can be completed with in 1 hour. It covers topics on numerical ability, logical reasoning, public health issues, and language skills. Those who pass the level have to pass in the second level interview to seek admission.
