Name of the Vacancy: Junior Radiographer in Health & Family Welfare Department (Post Code: 16/11)

Number of Vacancies: 33 (UR – 18, OBC – 10, SC – 05 including OH-02, HH-01 and Exsm - 04)

Period of Probation: Two years

Pay Brand: Appointed candidates will be coming under the pay brand of Rs.5200-20200+GP of Rs.2400.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: candidates must have completed their matriculation/higher secondary/senior secondary with science and two-year certificate course in radiography/ B. Sc Radiography or Radiological Technology (two-year course).

Age: Candidates must be between the age group of 18 and 27 years and upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC candidates and 3 years for OBC Candidates, up to 10 years for PH Candidates, upto 15 years for PH & SC candidates and up to 13 years for PH & OBC candidates. Process of recruitment:

DSSSB will be conducting a combined Part I preliminary objective type examination for a duration of one year and Part II Main descriptive type examination for three hours at one go. Application fee:

The cost of application for this group C position is Rs.50 and this fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Secretary, DSSSB. Candidates can get the application from the office of DSSSB on all working days except Saturday and Sunday between 10:00am and 05.00pm.
