The Health and Family Welfare Department is committed to provide excellent health services in Punjab. The department provides primary health care services in the rural areas Medical Institutions including sub-centers, SHCs/rural dispensaries/clinics, PHCs and CHCs. The department provides secondary level health care system through sub-divisional level and district hospitals.

The hospitals that serve as secondary level health care system also supports the health care services provided in the Primary Health Care System. The department provides tertiary level health care services through specialized hospitals and hospitals attached to state medical colleges.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The lower age limit of the candidates should be 18 years and upper age limit is 37 years.

Educational Requirements – The candidates should have passed Senior Secondary Part-II Examination in Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from a recognized university or institution. They must have passed diploma in Radiography from a recognized university or institution.
