Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy has its headquarter located at Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi. The academy was established on September 15, 1948 as a government agency. mr. Rajeev Kumar Mathur is the present Director General for the academy. Government of India is the parent organization for the academy. The academy has an academic staff of total 427 personnel. The academy is mainly responsible for training Indian Police Services officer before their join their jobs. The institute was named after former Indian Deputy Prime Minitser, Sardar Vallabhai Patel.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy is looking forward to recruit eligible Indian nationals on the vacant posts of Assistant Director. The posts of Assistant Director are available under the discipline of Computers only. Eligibility:

The age of interested candidates must not exceed the prescribed maximum age limit or else they will be considered uneligible for the post. Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have done the prescribed degree from a recognized university of India only. However, the desirable qualification for the specified post is Master’s degree in Engineering or Doctorate in any of the subjects mentioned above. Candidates are also required to have done formal training in computer programming or system designs or analysis. Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

Selection Process:

Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called to appear in the Personal Interview Test that will be held on a specified date. A Selection Committee will take the interview test of candidates. The final decision on the selection of candidates will be made by this selection committee only and that will be made only on the basis of the performance of candidates in the interview.
