Pay Scale: For the position of Technical Assistant under different categories mentioned-above, candidates will be offered a pay scale of Rs.9300+34800 + Grade pay of Rs.4200.

Eligibility requirements:

Age: For the position of Technical Assistants, the upper age requirement is 35 years as on the 30th of November 2011. Upper age relaxation applicable for SC/ST candidates is 5 years and three years for candidates belonging to OBC category (non-creamy layer).

Selection Procedure:

Eligible candidates will have to take up written test or trade test according to the call letter sent to them. The result of the test and the subsequent dates of interview will be published in the notice board of the institution and in the website of the institution in the same day in which candidates appear for the written test.

Application fee:

Fee to be paid by general/OBC category candidates is Rs.500 and by SC/ST category candidates is Rs.100. This fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Director, SCTIMST payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

How to apply:

Candidates will have to apply online through the website of the institute at www.sctimst.ac.in from 21st November 2011 to 20th December 2011. Once online application is submitted successfully, candidates will get a system generated application along with application registration number and this sheet should be taken as printout. The printout should be signed by the candidates and should be attached with original DD for the application fee, they should clearly specify the post for which they apply and should send the same to the address given below before 31st December 2011:
