Can you please tell me whether an MS ENT candidate can opt for DNB Neurosurgery? CMC Vellore, KGMC Lucknow and KMC Manipal all allow the MS/DNB (ENT) candidates for appearing for MCh entrance examinations. Their websites gives the eligibility criteria that includes MS ENT for 3 yr MCh Neurosurgery course. The DNB website says only MS/DNB Gen.Surgery candidates can apply for DNB Neurosurgery or DNB Surgical Onco. In fact MCI in its last notification says ENT Post graduates can apply for MCh Surgical Onco.
Is it that the new notifications submerged the old/original MCI rule allowing MS ENT candidates to pursue MCh Neurosurgery? |
