Balaghat District is located in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and it is located in the central part of the nation. The town of Balaghat acts as the administrative headquarters of the district and it was constituted in the year 1867 by amalgamation of the parts of Seoni, Mandla and Bhandara districts.
