Paper Pattern

Question paper will consist of total 7 questions out of which only 5 questions need to be solved. Q.1 will be made compulsory to attempt and it will be based on the entire syllabus. Remaining questions can come from any part of the syllabus. Marks allotted to each module will be relative to the number of individual lecture hours as mentioned in the syllabus.  No question will be asked from the pre-requisite module as per the set rules.

One experiment need to be performed from the list given in the syllabus for the practical and oral examination. The oral examination in particular can be derived from the whole syllabus.

Eight experiments and a written test need to be done for the term work. Laboratory work will consist of 15 marks and at least one test need to be given of 10 marks.

Time Duration For The paper

3 hours will be given for attempting the theory paper.

Marks Allotted

5 out of 7 questions need to be solved which are of 20 marks each. So 100 marks are allotted for the theory paper, 25 marks are allotted for the practical and oral whereas 25 marks are allotted for term work.

“Modern Control System Theory” by M. Gopal, “Modern Control Engineering” by K. Ogata, Modern Control Engineering by Dr. K.P. Mohandas, Feedback Control of Dynamic Systems by Gene F. Franklin, J David Powell, Abbas Emami-Naeini. Are few suggested readings.
