The department of business and Financial Studies & Management was set up for a global research in commercial lines, an entrance exam is conducted for the admission of students in this course each year, and main examination centre for the exam is Srinagar. Through this paper students can get admitted for management as well as financial studies.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

The perspective candidates should have a three year, B Com/BBA/BBS or BA/BSc with PG diploma in Accountancy/ Cost Accountancy/ Cost & Management Audit.

Marking:

Questions are mainly subjective type with numerical and reasoning questions each of 20 marks. There is no negative marking for the wrong answers.

Mode of exam:

The paper is required to be answered on a given answer booklet containing a definite number of sheets.

Paper pattern:

The paper is an objective paper with a total of 60 questions each containing 4 options out of which only one is correct, the question paper carries weightage from all section s of the syllabus, all questions are compulsory and each contains equal marks, there is no negative marking for wrong choices.

Schedule:

The students are allotted a maximum of three hours for completing the paper.
