IBPS is about to conduct a test for the selection of eligible candidates to various Specialist Officer Posts. IBPS is organizing this exam for the recruitment for 19 nationalized banks functioning in India. Eligible candidates will be placed in various specialist officer designations on clearing the common written examination carried out by IBPS. Those applicants who will pass this exam will be issued a scorecard. The candidates need to apply again for each of the notifications issued by different participating banks. Each bank will demand their specifications for their recruitment process.

Instructions to be followed for filling IBPS Specialist officers exam Forms

• The applicants must be conscious of the guidelines specified in the notification before starting to fill up the form.
• The applicant should hold a valid email id.
• They must clearly enter their name in block letters with out making any mistake.
• Qualification details should be entered correctly as it is a significant factor regarding the admission process. For different posts the qualification needed will be different.
• Category name should also be clearly specified as this will be an important factor while preparing the rank list.
• Date of birth of the candidate should be correctly mentioned as it will be used as the password in the future communications.
• Contact details should be mentioned clearly in the specified places.
• Scan and upload the recent photograph and also the signature.
• Test centre should be correctly opted from the drop down list as no change in centers will be entertained.
• The completely filled up application form needs to be submitted online before the last date as mentioned clearly in the notification.

Exemptions to be taken care while filling in form

The eligibility criteria mentioned for each of the designations will be different.

• Applicants who are belonging to the SC, ST and also PH reserved categories will be offered an age relaxation up to 5 years.
• Those applicants who are belonging to the category of Ex – Servicemen will also be offered an age relaxation of up to 5 years.
• The details concerning fees to be paid for General category candidates and that of reserved category applicants will also be different

Acknowledgement of exam application form

The applicant will receive an SMS in the mobile phone stating the acceptance of the application after submitting the application form online. They will be provided a username and also a password to be used for future references. They will also receive an email stating the same. They will receive the hall tickets as well as an information handout via post two weeks prior to the exam.
