National Highways Authority of India was formed in the year 1988 as an autonomous agency under the Government of India. NHAI is totally focussed in the development and maintenance of National Highways. The headquarter of the authority is located in the state of Delhi. The authority is responsible for the management of a network of over 60 thousand kilometer of National Highways in the country. The authority actually comes under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

Job Profile:

National Highways Authority of India is looking forward to recruit eligible officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union territories or any other recognized institutions etc for the posts of Assistant Manager (Vigilance). Recruitment of candidates will be made purely on deputation basis for an initial period of three years. However, the deputation period may get extended as per the requirment of the authority.

Eligibility:

All interested candidates are required to have age less than the prescribed age limit for being eligible for applying for the posts of Assistant Manager (Vigilance) in National Highways Authority of India. The maximum age limit set for the specified position is 56 years as on the last date for the reciept of application. Reserved categories candidates (Scheduled caste or Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Class etc) may get relaxation of few years in the upper age limit as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

The minimum educational qualification required to be possessed by the candidates is Degree from a recognized institute or university. However, Degree in Law or Diploma in Public Administration or Masters in Business Administration from a recognized university, are desirable for the specified position. Minimum three years experience in vigilance matters in any Government department, is also needed. Candidates with qualification less than Degree, are not eligible for applying in National Highways Authority of India.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the salary under Pay Band II i.e. Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4800.

Selection Process:

Selection of best suitable candidates will be made on the basis of the evaluation result of the Interview Test with the Selection Committee.
