Job Profile:

Steel Authority of India Limited is inviting applications from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the vacant positions of Junior Nursing Sister (Trainee) and Junior Medical Technologist (Trainee). Selected candidates will have to work in Bhilai Steel Plant of Steel Authority of India Limited. Posts of Junior Medical Technologist (Trainee) are available in the disciplines of Radiology, Audiometry, Dental and Radio Therapy.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to strictly follow the age criteria set for the specified posts i.e. candidates must have age below than the prescribed maximum age limit. Candidates with age less than the prescribed minimum age limit or more than the prescribed maximum age limit will not be considered eligible for applying in Steel Authority of India Limited.

The minimum age limit set for both the posts is 18 years as on 1 December 2011.
The maximum age limit set for both the posts is 28 years as on 1 December 2011.

Educational Qualification:

Junior Nursing Sister (Trainee): Candidates are required to possess B.Sc. degree in Nursing from a recognized institute or university. Candidates, who have passed 10+2 alongwith three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, are also eligible to apply for the post.

Junior Medical Technologist (Trainee): Candidates with 10+2 or B.Sc. degree or Bachelor’s degree in concerned disciplines are eligible for applying for the post.

No. of posts: Total 18 posts are available.

Junior Nursing Sister (Trainee): Only 13 posts are available.
Junior Medical Technologist (Trainee): Only 5 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 9160-13150 per month.

An Account Payee Demand Draft of requisite application fee is need to be paid by the candidates in order to apply for any of the two specified posts in Steel Authority of India Limited.
