Admission procedure in colleges offering B.Ed Course in Gwalior

Admission to the course is based on the performance in entrance exam, conducted by the universities. Candidates who have cleared the entrance test will be shortlisted for personal interview. Candidates’ communication skill and subject knowledge will be measured in the personal interview. Final selection is based on scores obtained in screening test and personal interview.

Eligibility Criterion

Candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline are eligible to apply for this course. They are required to have a minimum of 45 % marks in aggregate in the qualifying degree. Candidates belonging to reserved categories can avail reservation in terms of marks, as per the norms of government of India. There is no upper age limit for this course.

Exam pattern of the entrance test

In the entrance exams there will be questions to measure reasoning skills, language skills as well as teaching aptitude of the candidates. Medium of instructions will be in Hindi as well as in English. Duration of the test is 3 hours. The question book let contains 2 parts. The first part contains general questions from General Awareness, Reasoning and Language Comprehension. Next part carries questions from candidates’ opted subject. Candidates are required to score at least 65 % marks in the written test so as to qualify the same.
