Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has recently invited applications for the post of constables. Those who have completed matriculation are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging in the age group of 18-23 years can participate in the selection process. Such candidates should be physically fit also. Recruitment is carried out on the basis of written as well as physical test. Applications should be sent in prescribed format by post.
Eligibility Criterion for Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) Recruitment in CRPF

Matriculation is the basic educational qualification required for the post of constable in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Those who are residing in the following states are only eligible to apply.

  • Maharashtra
  • Gujarat
  • Andhra Pradesh
  • Tamil Nadu
  • Kerala
  • Karnataka

Those who are applying for the post should have passed the motor vehicle fitter course (automobiles)/motor mechanic course from any recognized ITI. Apart from this they are required to have one year professional experience in the relevant field. Candidates are required to have a valid driving license at the time of recruitment. Those who have completed minimum of 18 years of age are only eligible to apply. Upper age limit is 23 years at the time of recruitment. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste can seek relaxation up to five years as per the norms issued by the Government of India. For those who are belonging to Other Backward Class, upper age limit is expandable up to 3 years. In addition to this those who are domiciled in the State of Jammu and Kashmir can seek 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.

Candidates are required to fulfill the physical standards as per the notification issued by the organization. Male candidates should have minimum height of 170 cms and that for female candidates is 157 cms. Those who are belonging to reserved categories can seek relaxation in upper age limit as per the norms issued by Government of India.

Application Procedure

Eligible candidates who are interested to apply for the post of constable in CRPF are required to apply in the prescribed application form. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/- as application fee. Female candidates and those who are belonging to reserved categories are exempted from fee payment. Fee payment can be done by taking a Bank Draft in favor of Deputy Inspector General of Police, regional centre. Fully filled in application along with details of fee payment should be sent to the regional office within stipulated date. Late and incomplete applications will be rejected without intimation.
