MBA in SITM - Admission and Fee Structure
A graduate degree is essential to apply for MBA course in Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM). The admission procedure for this course includes an entrance examination, Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP). General English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge and Analytical and Logical Reasoning are the main subjects covered in this entrance examination. Candidates qualified in written exam, should attend GD and Personal Interview as well.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA in SITM
A graduate degree in any discipline from an institute recognized by UGC is essential to apply MBA course in this college. It is compulsory to obtain at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam to take admission for this course. Final year graduates are also eligible to apply, provided they are able to complete the course with the prescribed percentage of marks within the time of admission.
Admission Procedure for MBA in SITM
The selection process for MBA course in SITM comprise of two phases –
Phase 1 – Selection Test
As the first phase of selection, candidates need to attend an entrance examination. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the specified entrance examination need to be attended by candidates. The structure of the entrance exam includes objective type questions for a total of 180 marks to be completed within a time limit of 120 minutes. Following are the main subject areas which will be covered in the entrance examination –
General English– 40 marks
- Verbal Reasoning
- Verbal Ability
- Reading Comprehension
Quantitative Aptitude– 40 marks
- Data Interpretation
- Data Sufficiency
General Knowledge– 40 marks
- Business Scenario
- Current Affairs
- General Awareness
Analytical and Logical Reasoning – 60 marks
Phase 2 – Group Discussion and Personal Interview
It is compulsory for candidates to qualify SNAP test by scoring the specified cut off score to become eligible for other selection procedures. A group discussion (GD) will be conducted and if getting qualified in the same, candidates will be called for Personal Interview as well. The final merit list will be made on the following selection procedures and weight age attributed –
- SNAP score – 180 marks scaled down to 40 marks
- Academic performance (in 10th class, 12th class, graduate course and work experience) – 20 marks
- GD – 20 marks
- Personal Interview – 20 marks

1st Installment to be paid at the time of admission

- Pre Induction Fees (Non Refundable) – Rs 10,000/-
- Institute Deposit (Refundable) – Rs 10,000/-
- Mess Fees – Rs 40, 300/-
- Hostel Deposit (Refundable) – Rs 10,000/-
- Hostel Fees different subject to sharing
- Single / Twin Sharing – Rs 66,000/- plus
- Triple Sharing – Rs 55,000/- plus
- Four Sharing – Rs 44,000/- plus
- Dormitory – Rs 33,000/-
2nd Second Installment fees
- Fees – Rs 1, 80, 000/-
The 3rd installment fees same as 1st installment less Pre induction fees, Institute & Hostel Deposit. The 4th Installment Fees same as 2nd Installment Fees.
