Campus Placement Procedure for 3i-Infotech

Engineering graduates in subjects of Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent are eligible for campus placement in 3i-Infotech. Recruitment is made through the process of written test, GD, and HR interview. Questions on Verbal Ability, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude are asked for written test.

Eligibility Criteria for 3i-Infotech

Fresh engineering graduates (with or with out any professional experience) can participate in the campus placement procedure for 3i-Infotech. Engineering graduates in subjects of Information Technology or Computer Science are eligible to apply. Those with Master of Computer Application (MCA) or Master of Science in Information Technology/Computer Science are also eligible to apply. Candidates are not required to have any specific cut off marks in the qualifying examination. Eligible candidates can participate in the campus placement process by bringing 2 copies of updated resumes and 2 passport size photographs. Xerox copies of mark sheets from 10th till graduation and Identity Card (with Photo) should also be bought at the venue for campus placement.

Campus Placement Process for 3i-Infotech

Candidates should go through a three stage selection process to get recruited in 3i-Infotech.

  • Written Test
  • Group Discussion
  • HR Interview

Written test main comprise questions from the following topics.

  • Verbal Ability
  • Reasoning
  • Quantitative Aptitude

In the section of verbal ability, there will be given a paragraph of nearly 400 words. First 10 questions are direct and will be based on the paragraph. Apart from this, three questions (each) from synonyms and anonyms, 9 questions on fill up the blanks, and 15 questions on sentence correction are asked for the test.

For reasoning session, questions are asked from the following topics.

  • Blood Relation
  • Coding and Decoding
  • Data Sufficiency
  • Old Man Out
  • Seating Arrangement
  • Series
  • Symbols and Notations
  • Venn Diagrams

Questions for Quantitative Aptitude are asked from the topics as mentioned below.

  • Compound Interest
  • Data Interpretation
  • Linear Equations
  • Probability
  • Profit and Loss
  • Ratio
  • Series
  • Simple Interest
  • Simplification
  • Speed and Distance
  • Variation and Proportion

Those who clear the written test can go for attending the session of Group Discussion. Topics of general interest and social importance are asked in this session. Communication and presentation skills of the candidate are basically evaluated here.

Final stage of selection process is HR interview. Self introduction, hobbies, academic projects, etc are some of the questions that can be expected for HR interview. Personality and attitude of the candidate is basically evaluated in this section. Those who can clear all the three stages of recruitment process are given with the offer letter.
