Institute Profile:

National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra was established in the year 1963 by the Govt. of India and State Government of Haryana. The main aim of establishing the institute was to provide technical training to youth so that they can serve the state of Haryana and also the whole country. No doubt, NIT Kurukshetra is a premier technical institute of the region.

Job Profile:

The deputy registrars will be responsible for handling and managing the financial and the administrative matters of the university.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than 50 years of age as on the closing date of reciept of applications. Candidates who are in employment in Government/ Semi‐
Government should submit their applications through their employers.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates are required to have Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and Nine years’ of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 6000/‐ and above with experience in educational administration.

Pay scale: Selected candidates will be paid the salary of Rs. Rs. 15,600‐39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600.

Selection criteria:

The post will be filled by way of Direct Recruitment/on deputation/foriegn service from Government Departments/Reputed Univeristies etc.
