National Seed Research & Training Centre (NSRTC) was established in the year 2005 by the Government of India. The main objective behind establishing the centre was to have a seperate national seed quality control laboratory. NSRTC is situated in the city of Varanasi.

Job profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Assistant (Administration or Accounts) and Stenographer Grade-II depending on their educational qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates interested for the post of Assistant should holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department. And candidates interested in the Stenographer post should holding analogous post in the stenographer cadre on regular basis in the parent cadre/department.

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates are required to have graduation from a recognized university or equivalent and three years experience of administration, accounts and establishment work in a supervisory capacity in the government office, for applying for thepost of Assistant.

No. of posts: Only 1 post is available for the position of Assistant and 2 for Stenographer.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be paid the salary of Rs. 9,300-34,800/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/-

Selecteion criteria:

The mode of the recruitment is deputation including short term contract.
