Kurukshetra Institute of Technology & Management set up by the Shanti Devi Educational Trust (SDET) came up with a promise of producing leaders of tomorrow and to impart the best of technical education so that the country gets the best technical minds who will work for the development of the society. The campus of the college is located at Bhor Saidan, Pehowa road which is 9 km away from Kurukshetra University and thus has a good transportation facility.
The college is affiliated to the Kurukshetra University and has the recognition of All India Council of Technical Education.
Infrastructure
The institute stretches over an extensive campus of area 20 acres with greenery everywhere. The surroundings are apt for growing minds for its all-round development alongwith the academics. The institute is divided into two blocks, namely, Block-A and Block-B and the third block is in the process of construction. Block-A consists of the Electronics & Communication Department, Humanities & Applied Science Department, the Library, the Conference hall and Administrative offices including the offices of the Director and the Chairman. Block-B is composed of various academic departments which include separate departments for Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Master of Business Administration and an auditorium. This is not the full list alongwith these blocks there are other buildings also like a Workshop, Director’s Residence, Cafeteria, Hostels and Faculty Residences.
