Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges, Maharashtra (AMUPMDC) conducts AMUPMDC ASSO CET Exam for admission to various medical and dental courses offered by unaided private medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra.

Courses Covered under AMUPMDC ASSO CET

  • Ayurvedic (BAMS)
  • Dental (BDS)
  • Medical (MBBS)
  • Nursing (BSc)
  • Occupational (BOTh)
  • Physiotherapy (BPTh)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants to the MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing programmes should be born on or before 31st December 1995 and they should be an Indian National. Candidates applying for BAMS course should be born on or before 1st October 1995. (for 2012 exam)

The basic eligibility for appearing in AMUPMDC ASSO CET Exam is a pass in 10+2 or an equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) as the main subjects.

MBBS, BAMS and BDS candidates should have obtained 50% marks in the qualifying examination. The minimum marks required for candidates belonging to the reserved category is 40%.

Candidates applying for B.Sc Nursing should have completed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 45% for open category and 40% for reserved category.

A pass in standard 12th exam or an equivalent is the eligibility criteria specified for applicants to the Occupational (BOTh) and Physiotherapy (BPTh) courses.

Application Procedure

Application forms can be obtained from various sources.

Application forms are available from the centers notified by AMUPMDC. Candidates are required to draw a Demand Draft of Rs 500/- from Nationalized Bank in favour of “AMUPMDC”. It should be payable at Mumbai.

The forms can also be obtained from Association’s Office, AMUPMDC, Shrijee House 75 Mint Road, Mumbai – 01 by post. Candidates are required to draw an additional DD of Rs 200/- for postal charges.

Candidates can also get the forms from selected branches of Punjab National Bank (PNB) on a cash payment of Rs 500/-.

Candidates are required to draw a Demand Draft of Rs 1,500/- in favour of AMUPMDC payable at Mumbai, as ASSO-CET Examination Fee

The application form and other documents should be enclosed within the envelope provided by AMUPMDC.

Filled in application forms and relevant documents should be submitted to the office of AMUPMDC, Shrijee House, 75 Mint Road, Mumbai 01 by hand or though speed post.

Candidates submitting the application in person should affix their photograph. It should be attested and put a seal placed by the official at the AMUPMDC office. The Receipt cum Identity Card will be issued as an acknowledgement.

List of enclosures

  • Any certificate containing valid proof of age
  • Certificate proving nationality of the applicant
  • Community certificate for candidates belonging to reserved category.
  • Receipt-Cum-Identity Card, Annexure - “F”
  • Self Addressed and Stamped Envelope

Details regarding examination centre, date of examination etc will be intimated by AMUPMDC.
