Reserve Bank of India was incorporated in the year 1935 under Government of India. The central office of this bank is located in the city of Mumbai. The bank was nationalized in the year 1949 by the Government of India.The bank works on its preamble i.e.…to regulate the issue of Bank Notes and keeping of reserves with a view to securing monetary stability in India and generally to operate the currency and credit system of the country to its advantage. The major objective of the bank is to supervise the financial sector comprising Banks, Financial institutes and Non-Banking finance companies

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from SC, ST and OBC category candidates for the post of Assistant Manager (Security) in Reserve Bank of India. This special recruitment drive is for filling up the vacancies reserved for SC/ST and OBC classes in the bank. Selected candidates will have to perform all the protocol duties and alsa have to control over the staff deployed for the security of bank’s properties.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be more than 25 years of age but not more than 45 years of age as on 1 February 2011. Interested candidates are required to be an officer with a minimum of 5 years of comissioned service in either Army or Navy or Air Force. Candidates should strictly follow the age criteria set for the post of Assistant Manager (Security) in Reserve Bank of India.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to possess Degree from any recognized university or institute for applying on the posts of Assistant Manager (Security) in Reserve Bank of India. Candidates not having the minimum educational qualification set for the post, should not apply for the post.

No. of posts: There are only 13 posts available for the respective position of Assistant Manager (Security) in Reserve Bank of India.

(Scheduled Caste Category Candidates- 4, Scheduled Tribe Category Candidates- 4 and Other Backward Category Candidates- 4).

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get a starting basi pay of Rs. 17100 per month. Candidates will also get other kind of allowances as per rules from time to time.
