Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences was established in the year 1993 under Government of India. The institute came into existence with the directives of the Honourable Supreme Court. The institute was founded in the public inerest as an autonomous body. The institute is registered under the Societies Act 1860. The institute was established as the first Neuro Psychiatric Hospital in India with NABH accrediation. The institute is funded by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Government of NCT of Delhi. Minister of Health of Government of NCT of Delhi is the president of the executive council of the institute.

Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences is making recruitment of eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the vacant positions of Associate professor, Assistant Professor and Psychiatric Social Worker. This is a special recruitment drive for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories.
1. Recruitment of Associate Professor (Psychiatry):

Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.
2. Recruitment of Associate Professor (Neurology):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available (OBC-1).
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.
3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Psychiatry):
No. of posts: Only 10 posts are available (SC-1, ST-2 and OBC-7).
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.
4. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Neurology):
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available (SC-2 and OBC-3).
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.
5. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Radiology):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available (OBC-1).
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.
6. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Pharmacology):

7. Recruitment of Psychiatric Social Worker:

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the interview test that will be held on a specified date. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview test with the selection committee. Shortlisting of candidates will be made through the initial screening of recieved application.
