Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences is an autonomous body which comes under the Government of NCT of Delhi. The institute is considered as one of the reputed medical institution which deals in patient care, teaching and research activities in the field of Neuro and other allied sciences. The institute offers various post graduate courses such as D.M. Neurology, M.D. Psychiatry etc to its students. The administrative staff of the institute includes Mr. Birbal Singh and Mr. Bharat Bhushan on the position of Administrative Officer.

Job Profile:

Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences is recruiting eligible and qualified candidates on the vacant faulty position Assistant Professor. The post of Assistant Professor is available in three different disciplines named Psychiatry, Neurology and Neuro Psychopharmacology. The mode of recruitment of candidates is on contract basis for a period of eleven months only.

1. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Psychiatry):
Age Limit: 45 years is the maximum age limit.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the IIIrd schedule to the IMC Act of 1956.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 71725 per month.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Neurology):
Age Limit: 45 years is the maximum age limit.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the IIIrd schedule to the IMC Act of 1956.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 71725 per month.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor (Neuro Psychopharmacology):
Age Limit: 45 years is the maximum age limit.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part II of the IIIrd schedule to the IMC Act of 1956.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 71725 per month.

Application Fee:

General and OBC categories candidates are required to submit the application fee of rs. 150 only. However, no fee is required to be submitted by candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. Candidates are required to submit the prescribed amount of application fee through the means of a demand draft drawn in favour of Director, IHBAS, Delhi-95.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the post of Assistant Professor in Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences is comprises of a walk-in-interview test only that will be held on 24 June 2011. Only eleigible candidates should arrive for the walk-in-interview as uneligible candidates would not be allowed to sit for the interview test under any circumstances.

How to apply: Only eligible candidates will be allowed to sit in the walk-in-interview. Candidates should come on time for the walk-in-interview at the prescribed venue. The walk-in-interview will be held on 24 June 2011 from 2 PM onwards. Candidates should bring all their original documents at the time of walk-in-interview.
